Last night i had a show in Tempe at a place called the sets, now each time we go there its dead as all hell in there. but last night was just awful, the moment i got there i knew it was bad. I walk in, and they are playing a bootlegged copy of EP III Revenge of the Sith on a projector just right of the stage. During sound check, they were still playing the movie and it was loud, so the sound guy couldnt get a good sound check, so our sound was terrible. then came show time, and what happened? they were still playing EP III!!! How the hell do you compete with a Star Wars movie that is still in the damn theaters?!! Everyone pretended we didnt exist, and watched the movie! The way it works for me, is that i am empowered by the audience, so i really was not into it last night, cause no one cared. so since i wasnt into it, i played horribly! and so did te rest of the band. So i was pissed the rest of the night, it was a very rude thing for the venue to do.

Dana and I are moving into an apartment near the last apartment i lived in prior to living with Dana and her Mom. Its gonna be sooo nice having our own space, and i'll be a hell of alot closer to school and the band. but damn this week isnt gonna be easy.
Move In Date is Today! I still have to buy my dads Suburban from him for dana and get her insurance so she can have her own way to work. and i forgot to call the people who are delivering my couch! Ouch! and i still need to order our Bed! and!... i had almost no time to pack over the weekend because i worked 4-9 friday(but from 1:30 to 3:30 i was at SRP locked out of my car), and on saturday i worked 12:00 to 9:00 and on sunday i worked 12:00 to 11:00pm!!!

Busy Busy Busy Busy...

Ok, imagine your self in a criminal situation for a second and ask yourself this: Gee, would i rather police gun me down like a rabid dog on a rampage? or would i rather them taser me so that i can get on with my life in the future? Knowing that even in the most calm situations a police officer can gun you down if he feels his/her life is in danger.

People are complaining that police are using Tasers too often to take down their suspects. Would you rather them pump you full of lead?

First Grader Punished for Bag of Dirt

Sikeston, Missouri --A Southeast Missouri first grader finds herself in big trouble after playing with a plastic bag she found on the playground.

It happened last tuesday during recess at Mathews Elementary in Sikeston, MO.

The girl's mother says her daughter used the bag to make her friend a present. But, her teacher didn't see it that way.

Tuesday Heartland News spoke with 6-year-old Michaela Boyd, and her mother Michele. They tell Heartland News teachers confused a hand-gathered gift of nature's goodies with a bag of marijuana.

"There was nothing in the bag i just found it on the ground." Said first grader Michaela Boyd.

After finding the bag much like the one disposable utensils come in, Michaela says she decided to make her friend a bag of goodies, "They said what did you make this out of. and what did you tell them. I said out of dirt. And what else. I made it with rocks, clover and dirt."

Her mom, Michele, says after Michaela put the mixture into the bag, she tied the top with a purple ponytail holder and gave it to her friend saying,"here's a bag of dirt."

After recess was over the student gave the bag of dirt to their teacher.

Michele says after meeting with the teacher and principal, she was told that the bag of dirt, "looked like a bag of weed."

Michaela says, "They said it was kind of a drug. I don't know what they are I only see cigarettes. That's all I say."

Heartland News spoke with superintendent Stephen Borgsmiller about what happened here on the playground last Tuesday and he says while he can not comment on this particular case given the childs age. He did tell me that after gathering all the information an assessment was made and now they are moving on."

Michele says she doesn't deny what her daughter did. But she does disagree with the two-day in-school detention. "They said it would be on her school record as far as disciplinary that she made a look alike drug but I don't feel like that's right. Because she didn't do anything wrong."

Michele says her daughter served her two day, in-school detention last Thursday and Friday. And while she's still upset with the schools actions, Michele is not considering moving her daughter to another school.

I entered Guitar Center's Guitarmageddon this year. i remember last year there were a few outstanding musicians and they Tore it up, with a capital "T"!!

But this year i will give em hell!!!

I'm getting a job at Richardson Music, giving guitar lessons for $12 per halfhour!

I start when one of the teachers leaves(wich is gonna be soon, just not sure how soon) and if not soon enough, the mamager is gonna open a new day that normally doesnt have guitar lessons and give it to me! I just have to brush up on my note reading skills.

I am going to be the happiest man on earth! and my pupils shall become guitar lords!!!
