Naturally, the findings happen around Christmas.  Coincidence?  I THINK NOT.

Frankly, I can take or leave most of her music.  HOWEVER - I will be heartbroken, to the point of shaking and crying, if ontd_political and The Mothership don't troll the fuck outta THAT picket line.

If there's one thing I've grown to love about Twitter, it's that I can tell Sarah Palin to Shut The Hell Up right to her face, so to speak. 

I may not use it much, but sometimes there's just no substitute.  :D

YOU WERE RIGHT.  SHE IS FUCKING CRAY-CRAY OMFG IN THE CHILDHOOD SEQUENCE SHE EVEN LOOKED LIKE I USED TO JFC.

I'd basically pig out on all the things I've been craving for a while now to take care of the craving, so that when the calories do count again, I'm not jonesing so badly for something like brownies or fettuccine alfredo.

You know what just occurred to me as I was re-watching S5 eps b/c I'm too friggin' congested to sleep and breathe at the same time?

It would be really, really awesome if Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab did a Supernatural line.  It's seriously right up their alley - Kerouac meets Revelations.  I'd see it having lots of men's oils with a really heavy emphasis on some repeating themes like whiskey, gunpowder, brimstone, etc.  Whiffs of things that capture the essence of the show. :D 

That got me to thinking - I know next to nothing about this sort of thing and would need to learn a lot more before trusting my own judgment in making perfumes, but these were some of the ideas that I would send BPAL to toy with and change to their liking:

Dean -
Well-worn leather, gunpowder and whiskey, with the grit of grave-dirt and a lingering trace of brimstone.

Sam -
Warm blood, cold steel, cheap hotel soap and musk.

Castiel -
Frankencinse, tuberose and violet, singed with an edge of still-smoking brimstone.

Bobby -
Dusty tomes and single-malt scotch, with a whiff of gunpowder and...???

KAZ 2Y5 -
The Impala. Lots of leather and some wax, with the briefest hints of blacktop & motor oil. Darkened with metallic traces of dried blood. Even Dean just can't get all of it out of the seats sometimes - at least they're black, right?

Come on, y'all - join in. :D  We need scents for other characters and recurring motifs in the show!
